Seward Park — Monday, Jul. 3, 2023

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

The trail within the park was beautiful. Shaded and surrounded by awesome trees and pretty flat and easy to manage. We took our dog and the kids (Ages 13 & 11). We took a path through the park and then down to Lake Washington. The trail down was a bit of a descent (meaning the trip back was a bit of a climb but not too bad).

We packed a picnic to eat down by the lake. There were lots of areas with benches and shade. Lots of families swimming and boating in the lake. There were also picnic areas near the top of the parking lot.

In total we hiked about 2.5 miles. Ended the day at Molly Moons for ice cream 🍦😋
