Arrived at 8:45 a.m. on the Thursday and got the next to last parking space, though there was space along the road.
My destination was Summerland, and the trail is in excellent condition the entire way. The trail is a steady, but mostly gradual, uphill until the crossing of Fryingpan Creek. As noted in previous posts, a little rock-hopping is required to get to the bridge over Fryingpan Creek (see photo). The trail gets steeper after the bridge, with switchbacks, up to Summerland. I enjoyed talking to some of the Wonderland Trail through-hikers.
A beautiful day and hike!
