Very few hikers and the trail is fantastic!! A really nice alternative to next-door neighbors Blanca Lake and Beckler Peak, especially for those seeking solitude.
Wildflowers are pretty good, especially as you get closer to the top. Incredible views even before the’summit’. Would love to see this trail extended further. Thank you WTA!!
Note: using the WTA coordinates for mapping your way here, you come to a 5-way intersection. Go straight ahead (avoid the 2 roads to the left and the one road to the right) and up the road for a very short distance to the TH parking lot. There is a small yellow sign "Temporary Frog Mountain Trail Sign" and a large "No Shooting" sign on the tree ahead - this helps but is hard to see when you first come into the intersection.

This would have been the first day with THREE reports had the location been listed correctly. (didn't know there was another Frog Mtn near Mt. Rainier) I avoid anything east of Sultan on weekends.
