Mount Washington — Thursday, Jul. 27, 2023

This is a gorgeous hike! Talus, boulders, trees, light bushwhacking, beautiful views. Noise from I-90 dropped away about 1.5 miles in, disappeared almost completely as I went higher. Very few bugs/mosquitos, enough shade that I didn't mind the sun and heat. I left at 11:30am and was back at parking by 4pm, spent 30 minutes for lunch at the top, it was so pleasant. Boots and poles were helpful coming down, enough rocks that I slid a lot. A few water sources, creeks, small waterfall. Lovely.
