What a stunning hike! Had several water crossings and beautiful wildflowers along the way. It wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday morning and most of the people were backpacking. Some contractors were working on the trail about 4 miles up clearing away the overgrown brush. The trail was very steep as you approach the basin and you have to scramble over some rocks. The trail from the basin to foggy lake was a little hard to follow at times and was a lot of climbing over rocks. Foggy lake was so clear and blue and was a great place for a refreshing swim. There was a bathroom at the Barlow pass trailhead.
