Mirror and Cottonwood Lakes — Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023

Great little trail to two beautiful lakes. We headed straight to Mirror Lake, enjoyed the peekaboo views of Cottonwood Lake along the way. Lots of butterflies, berries, and monkshood wildflowers. Like recommended on the WTA trail description, we parked at the lower parking space and walked the 0.5mi to the trailhead. We also extended our trip with a short walk up the gravel path from the upper parking lot to an overlook with lovely views of Lost Lake. This made our trip a total of 4.6 mi, 980 ft. Happy Trails!
