I day hiked Ptarmigan Ridge from Artist Point. It was a cool and misty day without a lot of distance views. The snow is melting but snowfields are still present on the trail, especially after the first mile out of Artist Point. It was a lot of fun with micro spikes, hiking poles, and an ice axe for some of the more challenging spots. I saw a Ptarmigan and a Marmot on this hike.
