Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Trail with brush on either side

Today we went for a stroll up meadow hill at Brightwater Park. The hill affords a nice view of the surroundings with some explanatory signs. Trail was in good condition and mostly flat.

More details for reactive dog owners! If you're curious about reactive dogs you can learn more in my bio.
Trail Width: The trail width varies from around 3 feet wide to maybe 10 feet wide. There is a narrow bridge on the way to the hill (heading North from the parking lot).
Visibility: In most places you can see people coming a long ways off. The North end of the park has more trees and is a little bit harder to see people coming.
Pull-offs: Some sections have large grassy areas off to the side where you can get off trail. Heading South from the parking lot has a lot of options. Portions on the North end have more brush and not many places to pull off. There are a couple of bridges but you can easily see if anyone is coming before starting across.
Crowds: We saw a couple dogs in the distance, along with about 5 people on a weekday morning. This trail is usually not too crowded.
Parking: The parking lot has plenty of space and is a single line of spots.

Narrow bridge you encounter heading North from the lot
