On a sunny August Saturday the trail was beautiful and very well used. From my power wheelchair user perspective it is well worth the lovely drive to get to this treasure! There are accessible? (Grab bars not recalled but plenty big restrooms//pit toilets with the accompanying aroma… at the trailhead.
The trail itself is as described-mixed surfaces the only obstacles I recall encountered were dirt protruding embedded rocks that could catch on ones lockdown bolt high entering the chair. Could be avoided once I saw it happen to a fellow wheeler. The wooden pathway transitions to dirt paths required a portable small ramp for one and a bigger ramp which we did not have for the 3 plus inch drop drop to ground on another one-so we could not continue to the ice caves. Very disappointing.
