Mount Teneriffe offers a fantastic access point to multiple trail options! Specifically, we hiked the Mount Teneriffe Trail up to the Mount Si connection point and then completed the hike to Mount Si. Continuing to the summit of Mount Teneriffe would have added an additional 2.4 miles, so taking the Mount Si connection provided a slightly shorter finish at 0.8 miles.
I can't comment on the end of the Mount Teneriffe Trail, but up to the connection point, it was enjoyable and offered a good mix of rocky steep sections and rolling flatter sections.
There were a few areas with bees and flies, which were a bit of a nuisance and unfortunately led to me getting stung, but that's just part of nature. I won't hold that against this trail!
I look forward to coming back for more hiking adventures in this area!
