Frog Mountain — Sunday, Sep. 10, 2023

We've had this hike on our list since we heard it was a newer trail, and we finally had a clear evening to check it out! 

The trail is in great shape, it definitely is a bit dusty at this point in the season though. Fall colors are starting to pop, so the next couple weeks should be really good up there. https://youtu.be/0lsDKEffUG4

This was a very fun trail, the grade was pretty consistent the entire way, and the views are amazing. Once you are up there, you can see just how close Blanca and other trails are to Frog Mountain. We could even see the smoke in the distance around Glacier Peak from the Airplane Lake fire.
