Went for a hike with my almost 4 year old. It was a beautiful trail with dry conditions all the way up to the upper falls. The initial creek you walk along has plenty of flow and some good spots to take a break on the hike up or back (or a cool walk in the calves). Most crowds died down past the observation point of the upper falls.
Parking near the trailhead with Discover pass was very busy but with lots of turnover is available.
