Sauk Mountain — Saturday, Sep. 16, 2023

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful hike up Sauk Mountain & to Sauk lake yesterday. This trail is in good shape and the views were spectacular. I definitely recommend taking plenty of sunscreen and water as 90% of the trail is in the open. Packing a warm jacket in case it gets windy would probably be a prudent choice also. SIDE NOTE: Unfortunately, my wife forgot her La Sportiva hiking boots in the parking lot. Someone Facebook commented on her post that the boots are now on the picnic table.
