Parking is a bit of an issue given the trailhead parking is being “remodeled” so very reduced. There are still privies on one of the loops that are operational. Trail is great shape for this trail - it’s a very rooty and rocky slog after about 2.5 miles, but has been somewhat improved since I was here last. You do need to pay close attention as there are social trails that dead end in some places. Lastly, this isn’t an off- leash trail. It’s clearly marked so twice at the trailhead. Please show some respect for the flora and fauna trying to survive in this environment, your dogs safety and the other hikers who are following the regulations.

Lisa Elliott on Lila Lake
Oh my goodness! We backpacked up the trail to the lakes. The off leash dogs up and down the large jagged rocks challenged my balance and about pushed me off trail multiple times.
