Naches Peak Loop — Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023

Went out for an early morning hike on Naches Peak Loop and the trail was entirely snow covered with the exception of a few patches through the trees. There was about an inch of snow across the trail but by the time we got back to Tipsoo Lake it was getting slushy on the trail which made it slippery. We could still see some of the fall colors through the snow and the fresh coat of snow was beautiful on the trees and lakeshore. Trail was easy to follow and there was a handful of boot prints leading the way.
