Trail in great condition but a bit muddy after the snow melted. The larches are past their prime as are most of the other fall colors - like berry bushes. It was very windy today so hard to say how long the larches will last. This is a very popular trail and even on a Friday, cars lined highway 20. Also note that dogs need to be on leash - there is a sign on the back of the trailhead bulletin board. And this is also a Drone-free area.

I was there on 10/13 and saw a drone flying, as well as several dogs running without leashes. Please respect the rules and habitat, thank you.
