Trail was in good condition, it rained the night before but it was not slippery at all. The morning was brisk, the sun had just come up I got a glimpse of Mount Rainier before going into the woods. Near the lakes the wind started to blow which made it a bit cold. Started up to the upper lake, than to Sour Dough gap. Some of the trail was 15% grade going up to the summit. There was snow at the top but not enough to make the hike any harder. Made it to the gap in two hours. Saw about 6 people before heading back to my car. More people on the way down, some people must have thought it was hot outside because they braved wearing shorts, one lady had a tank top on, which was crazy because it was now overcast and breezy. Also started to drizzle a bit. Anyway always bring the proper gear weather changes so fast.
