Easy Pass — Friday, Oct. 20, 2023

Been wanting to do this hike for awhile, finally got the chance. Roughly the first half is in open forest, very green with moss and fantastical fungi. Then it opens up and the views take off, sooo muchhh rock all around. Fall colors almost all gone, except a few patches. The trail is in good shape, although pretty muddy in parts. Definitely a tough trail, feels harder than the stats.
Some fresh snow on the higher mountains around us, a sign of more to come soon, I'm sure.
