The trail to the Narada Falls viewpoint is a solid sheet of ice, punctuated by chunks of muddy ice, and large rocks— also covered in ice. Spikes and poles were super helpful here, and for the next 1/3 of a mile at least.

The trail is generally in great shape, but there is significant snow accumulation in some areas. It’s passable if you like post holing- otherwise snowshoes would be a great choice.

The falls are stunning and the lake is absolutely gorgeous right now. Very thankful to have snuck this hike in before avalanche risk takes it off my list for the season.
