One of the better hikes I’ve been on. Arrived around 9:30 am on Black Friday along with one other car at the same time. The road to the trailhead is in great condition. I saw one other group at the lake itself but otherwise quiet as can be.
It’s quite an easy hike all things considered, though the depth of the snow around the lake was notable and made walking more difficult, as I had standard hiking shoes and no poles. The trek to the campsites was definitely a bit more difficult due to snowfall.
As noted, lots of snow and ice, however, I didn’t find it to be difficult to spot or cross. The snow helped with trail finding a bit as well.

Very little snow on the road. A bit in the center line of the road but none where your tires would be. I drive a sedan for reference, as did the other car that arrived at the same time as me. Zero issues at all
