Intermittent snow and ice today on trail. I put microspikes on about .75 miles in. Snow at lake; trail booted out and easy to follow. Was happy to have traction, as there were some pretty big sections of sheer ice. Pretty cool icicles along the ridge! Saw about 20 others on trail today. Started at 10:50am. Back at car by 1:30pm.
