Hiked 7 miles today up to Poo Poo Point. Parked at the 'northern' trailhead near the Sportsman shooting range. Plenty of open spots at 9:30am. There are multiple parking areas around the school / Issaquah trail network - so getting to the main Poo Poo Point trail start is up to you.
We found the #2 trail and used it to cut over to the Poo Poo Point trail start. Up Up Up. A few places to get turned around - but just read/follow the WTA description and the route is obvious.
Little mud on the trail (we haven't had much rain recently). Overall solid conditions for hiking.
Bathroom at the top was clean and full of toilet paper.
No paragliders today, very little wind. Sun was low in the sky - hidden by the mountain even at noon.
About 2 hours to hike up and 1 hour to hike down. Carried packs with water and lunch. Wore leggings and long sleeve shirts. Used trekking poles and trail runners.
Overall great day in the mountains. Beautiful forest and fun view of Issaquah from 2000 feet.
