Trail had no marker so basically you had to find it just past the side highway parking lot. It’s about 100 yards further down the road. I parked at a turn out. so the trail starts uphill past the creek washout and begins a steady, steep, uphill climb. This last for the whole climb does a very top. I stopped at 3 miles in because the wind and the snow began making it a little impossible to keep track of the trail, so I headed back will do this again, but in these conditions, I don’t want to take a chance the trail was wet, muddy and slippery near the top. There was snow, so I decided to head back.
