When the dogs and I arrived at the trailhead at 8:30 on Sunday morning there were only 3 other cars in the (very large) parking lot! I was undecided which trail to hike, but reports of few visitors on the CCC trail convinced me to go in that direction. It's a very laid back, quiet forest trail, and just beautiful with the light snow falling. The stream crossing was an easy rock hop. Lots of well built bridges that span various small streams that cross the trail. We only saw one other solo hiker and two trail runners. For those looking for a nice ramble through a mossy forest, look no further.
