Beautiful day to be outside. Parking for the trailhead was along the WB shoulder of Hwy 2. Some vehicles didn't do a very good job of parking outside the fog line (white line), and I really don't recommend that due to the volume and speed of passing traffic. The trail was completely covered in snow, packed down by many boots. The snow was quite wet today with estimated temperatures around 45° at 2pm. I used microspikes on the trail today, and was glad I had them. The wet snow was slippery, and I saw multiple people struggling in it, and one person sliding down a steeper section on their butt. The trail was easy to follow the whole way, and the views from the lookout were phenomenal.
