Well, I knew conditions wouldn’t be good today, but I was still sad to see how much the snowpack suffered through the warm temps and rain. 51F in the parking lot at 11am. It felt like a November snowpack, with areas bare down to the rock or ground. Lakes are thawing out. Lots of old avy debris around table mountain and above some of the ski areas. The snow itself was wet and heavy, with the consistency mashed potatoes. I hope we get some good snowfall next month and after, because we sure need it!
