The road after you cross the river up to the Snoqualmie Lake trailhead is full of potholes but my Camry did find. Just slow and steady. Got to the lot around 8:45am and there was about 5 cars in lot. Trail was very quiet. I love how it just weaves around Taylor River. Some snow on the trail but very easy to maneuver. Very intermittent. No spike needed. Saw one person on my way up. Otter Falls is not marked at all. Someone has put pink ribbons on the trees to mark it but it’s best to keep an eye on your tracker. Right around 4.25 miles is Otter Falls cut off and there’s no real trail up to it. You kind of just cut through the brush until you’re there. One person leaving Otter Falls as I arrived and I had then entire falls to myself for the entire time I was there…right around 30mins! Heading back I saw about 7-8 groups of people heading up. I clocked 9.32 miles & 853ft EG.

Uli on Taylor River - Otter Falls
There has been a sign for Otter falls where it turns off the Snoqualmie Lake trail up the hill for the past several years. It's on a tree, not a sign post. I doubt the sign is gone unless the tree fell over. But it is somewhat easy to miss.
