Garfield Ledges, Wise Creek Falls — Saturday, Mar. 16, 2024

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Sometimes, being a friend means accommodating a friend by picking a hike his wife will enjoy.  He and I did this hike seven years ago when there wasn't an official trail, so we decided on a revisit.  As you can imagine, at 11:15 the trailhead was very active.  Seems to be very popular for those with kids and dogs.  The trail is a nice grade and very well done with steps in steep areas.  There's a group of trees easily stepped under but need to be cleared.  The loo was disgusting.

On our way out I took them to a 'you have to know it's there' trail to Wise Creek Falls.  It's up the embankment to the east of the creek, using trail to connect to part of an old logging road, then back to trail to traverse a ridge to the falls.  Maybe .3 roundtrip.
A more direct route seven years ago.
