We were surprised to see so many wild flowers already blooming we live 45 mins east and have no flowers no leaves on trees yet. The trail was in great condition we took our 9,10 and 12 yr old daughters. We were bumbed the cabin was no longer standing and didnt see any old mine carts or anything like that. But the view was nice and we saw so many neat plants on the trail it was still a nice hike. We explored some side trails while up there also.

We were looking forward to the landmarks so thanks for posting this. We’ll just look forward to the flowers ☺️

NWBreeze on John Tursi Trail
After i wrote this i read thru some other posts and i wonder if we may not have went far enough? We stopped at the pile of rubble and empty foundation/lookout assuming it had been demolished. We didnt continue to follow the trail, I think the cabin remains may have been further? It looked like a log cabin with a dirt floor in a couple other hiker's comments.
