Mount Si — Saturday, Apr. 6, 2024

Chilly hike on moody Si with my chill crew today! We started at 10am and the parking lot was almost full! Trail is muddy in places and snow only in the last 3/4th mile. Didn't really put on spikes as it was packed but encountered a lot of unprepared hikers who were slipping on their way back. We put on spikes at the top as it helped on the way down. Lots of fresh snow at the top, little windy and quite chilly made it a picturesque winter wonderland. We didn't venture further up, took a couple pics at the view point and made it back down in a couple hours. 8.5 mi RT and 3100 ft gain.
