This is an update for access to the Neiderprum Trail. The washout has been repaired, but the road to the trailhead is still an adventure. This trip was an advance scouting trip for national trails day. I was very proud of my little truck for making it to the road's end and then back to the trailhead. The road has some very interesting segments, that on second thought left me with the idea, that you know an extended walk is not such a bad idea. Some very steep sections of road with fresh gravel proved to be particularily adventurous. My passenger wanted me to downshift, but going into first gear really limits the options. We survived the trip. The downhill return seemed much steeper. Too bad we did not have much time to scout out the trail itself, but that is for another adventure.
