CooCooCaChoo, Mount Robinson bailing on Baker yet again we headed for the legendary Mazama sun. Robinson Creek trail is in great shape- hardly any horse cherries, not too dusty, nice grade. The bridges are neat-o, and provided great places to lean on and take pack weight off. We took the Beauty Creek climber's path at 2 miles, and found this was in as good of shape as the main trail. A trail ending acrobatic stream crossing lead to a steep but incredible wildflower display. Along with the usual suspects were miles of Phlox and Gentians. Snow line around 6000', and we camped next to the Robinson's grave site. Morning sun kissed, steep snow led us to the ""classic"" scramble route meandering along the ridge and cliffs where the world was ours and ours alone.
