There are patches of snow beginning at the junction with the Iron Horse Trail. The trail is mostly snow-covered at 2900 feet and completely snow covered above 3550 feet. The avalanches chutes were MARGINALLY STABLE when I crossed them. There are signs of loose snow slides. Be careful. The lake is 95% snow covered and there is about four feet of snow. Four windfalls between 10 and 16 inches were noted. I cleared out everything that was less than six inches and above snow.
