Takhlakh Lake and Takh Takh Meadow — Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000

spent the week at takhlakh lake fishing and hiking around the area. this loop trail can hardly be called a hike, but offers great views. it also leads to plenty of other short hikes in the area. takh takh meadows is off the trail and offers many other options to hike on the lava beds. there are plenty of other scrambles that are available from the trail. we went as far as to use the loop for morning jogs. good way to test the trail runners.
