Trip Report

Cedar Butte — Saturday, Apr. 24, 2004

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
The cedar butte trail is reached off of the iron horse trail. It is marked by a small wooden sign on a tree a few yards east of the boxley creek bridge. The trail to the blowout loops back to the main trail so you don't have to backtrack; the blowout is rapidly filling with trees so it isn't so visually impressive, but you can still see it was a big one. The blowout trail joins the main trail from the right at a junction where the left trail goes to the summit(signed) and the center is signed ""south(something I forgot already)"". I followd it a ways and it seems to go mostly downhill and a little east and south as it gradually fades, there is some flagging up though. Anyone know what it is or where it goes? The picure is facing north from the top.
