Trip Report
Lake 22, Lake 22 - Winter — Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005

Rudy, Rodleen, and I decided to enjoy the beautiful spring-like weather and zero snowpack so we headed up to Lake Twenty-Two. The first mile of trail is bare and dry. When we did hit snow, it was only a few inches deep. The lake had a very thin coating of ice and just a dusting of snow on the cliffs above.
We saw several other hiking parties on the trail. With the clear blue sky and mild temperature, it almost seemed like April instead of mid February.
