got a late start out of w. seattle but felt the need to something away from the city. left car at 4:05 arrive top at 5:16, slow i know but my back went out three ago and am finally getting around. some snow near the top in the shadows but no need for extra traction, my yak tracs stayed in pocket of extra coat. icy wind on top, that extra coat went on first then take pictures . twenty minutes on top then quickly down. was getting dark, used small flashlight for only a few minutes in the thick forest until coming out by the lake. arrive car 6:16. best two hour i that i know of, trail in great condition and better views. 1600' elevation gain
