Middle Fork Snoqualmie River, CCC Road: Blowout Creek Trailhead — Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007

Dona and I hiked about a mile and a half on the CCC Road Trail and a bout a mile on the Middle Fork Trail. On the CCC trail we started at the trailhead a few miles before the campground. The West end of the trail? Anyway the trail is great, no wash outs and no downed trees. The Middle Fork Trail has many downed trees and some were quite a mess to get around. After 40 minutes we gave up and turned around. The Middle Fork Road is quite rough in spots with areas of historic sized pot holes!
