Just got back from a four day hiking trip which included Goat Mountain on Day 2. I made it to the north east summit in a few hours after going in and out of snow after the 3500'-4000' range. I will say confidently after that altitude it was mostly snow. The hike is still very rewarding if you stop there, but views from the summit are worth it if you can make it safely. Keep in mind its not easy to make it to the North summit right now safely. However, the North summit has a large amount of flat areas snow free right now so you can sit down and strech your legs out. Bring lots of water and snacks, trekking poles, good hiking boots and possibly an ice axe.
