Tolmie Peak Lookout - Eunice Lake — Friday, Aug. 3, 2007

Annie and I finally did Tolmie peak this morning got to the trail at 8:00 AM. There were about 10 cars already there, I'm guessing mosty camping and a couple of early hikers. It was so cold and windy! We were not really prepared for that. But we hit the trail and soon warmed up. Last year we only went to Eunice lake because it was so hot and bugs were so bad. But I really wanted to get to the lookout. So glad we did this morning. It was perfect weather up there. The mountain was grand as always, see for yourself in the pictures. The tiger lillies were in full bloom I have never seen so many. We saw alot of people on there way up around noon. So glad we beat the rush only 2 others at the lookout when we were. Trail is 7 miles medium difficulty.
