A busy day on the trail for this day hiker. Many many folks heading up to Rachel Lake for a Saturday night campout. Good times. Fair weather. Cold and windy on Rampart Ridge. Ate sardines, gave half to Dora, she's a good friend (see photo). Note to happy hikers, crazy mad mosquito hatch on the upper meadows. Clouds of them on my dog and self. Had to don raingear to keep em off.
