Middle Fork Snoqualmie River — Wednesday, Jun. 11, 2008

Ran about 7 miles up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River trail this morning. Temps in the 50's, but no rain. Thanks to all the crews that have cleared this trail. There are not many obstacles along the way, and the brush is cleared back as well. Somewhat muddy, but just like any other PNW trail out there in this colder than Siberia June. The most pertinent information that I feel I can share is that the county was out there smoothing the road with dump trucks and a road grader. In 10 years, I have never seen it so easy to drive to the trailhead. There are still potholes in many places, but many sections are smooth driving. Oh, and my 13 year old dog ran the whole way with me. Didn't know he had it in him. Enjoy!
