Signs of spring on Lopez island back roads,and easy going country roads ..the first flock of little lambs is in full bloom; and little pigs are not far behind... aliens wait for the unwary in the woods.... seals laze on the rocks off Shark reef... the roads in the interior of the island are still country pasture... anything on the water, with a view, not preserved for the public either has a house on it, or will very soon.. Lopez has several public coastlines Watmouth Bay, Point Colville, Iceberg Point, Spencer spit state park, Odlin county park, and the preserve right next to the ferry landing.... several favorite coa
