9 Delicious Things to Fill Your Thermos

Don't let the cold weather keep you away from the trails this time a year. Here are 9 hot recipes to keep you going while on your next adventure.

The winter and shoulder seasons are a great time to cozy up by the fire and read a book, but they're also a great time to see different types of landscapes and wildlife that you'd miss in other seasons. One tip for beating the cold is to try bringing something warm to eat or drink. Having a thermos full of a hot goodness can make a world of difference for having fun on a cold weather adventure.

Soups 

Black Bean Soup - Recipe (25 mins)

Hot Chocolate

Coffee
We can’t forget to add coffee to the list. What would we do without our much needed caffeine? Having a thermos full of hot coffee is an easy and effective way to keep warm while on trail.

Did someone say cinnamon and whiskey? A hot toddy is a delicious hot cocktail with one job, warming you up. Perfect for winter season!

Tea & Cider
If you don't want to do all the work, just grab a couple packets of your favorite tea, hot cider or hot chocolate before heading out on trail. Just don't forget the thermos full of hot water. You won't regret having something warm to sip on.
