Become a part of WTA's work on trails across the state

  • When millions of dollars in federal trail funding were threatened last year, WTA pulled out all the stops, mobilizing hikers and working with legislators to reinstate funding for trail maintenance throughout Washington.
  • When downed trees, wildfire damage, and broken bridges endanger trails and hikers, 2,700+ incredible WTA volunteers clear and build trails in the largest statewide volunteer trail maintenance program in the country.
  • When you search for a hike or need to check the conditions of a trail, WTA's website will get you all the information you need to plan your next outdoor adventure. No other state has a resource quite like it, and WTA member support powers wta.org for everyone.
