Visited this little gem after finding it on a trip report by Bob & Barb. The falls were spectacular! We hiked at Dosewallips State Park first then decided to come here since it was so close. Head approximately 3 miles west on Dosewallips Road north of Brinnon. It's on the right hand side behind a hydroelectric building. Because there is no signage on the road we ended up driving by it and had to turn around. Definitely a must see if you are in the area!

This short stroll begins after crossing the Rocky Brook Creek Bridge about 3 miles in on the Dosewallips Road. There is no sign, but there is a hydroelectric building on the right where you begin your walk. There wasn't much water going over the falls today, but you could see a deep blue color on the rocks and several interesting miniature falls. This is a worthwhile walk if you are driving 101 in the Brinnon area especially after a heavy rain when the falls become spectacular.

Shortly after MP 3 on the Dosewallips Road after crossing a bridge over Rocky Brook there is a turnout where one can park and walk a short path to Rocky Brook Falls which is a worthwhile destination if you are driving through Brinnon. We wanted to check out the difference today from when we were there after heavy rains on 12-12. The falls is actually prettier as seen today, but it is SPECTACULAR to view the area after heavy rains when there are many seasonal falls coming down the hillside and the sound of the falls and creek are deafening! (See our report of 12-12 for a comparison!)

This is not a true hike, but a very worthwhile destination and side trip if you are traveling 101 in Brinnon. Because of the recent rains, the falls and Rocky Brook Creek were SPECTACULAR! The falls are on the Dosewallips Road and only a short walk after crossing the bridge at Rocky Creek.

We walked the short distance to the falls to see how the rains had added to the size of the falls since we were there last Sunday. Not only was the falls greatly enlarged, but there were also secondary falls above the creek. The scene was awesomely beautiful and pictures were difficult to take because of the spray from the falls!
