Sage Hills — Saturday, May. 15, 2021

Central Washington > Wenatchee

Beautiful, warm and mostly wind free day.

Scored one of 4 parking spots at the Sage Hills trailhead just before noon. I like when that happens :)

The Canyon Trail, and the highest elevations have the best flowers. I kept left at every junction to reach the top of the ridge with good views of the Enchantments. I returned the same way instead of looping, as the other side of the loop looked much drier. The mix of Balsamroot and Lupine was spectacular. Balsamroot is fading quickly.
