Central Washington > Potholes Region

This is a very cool area and a pretty easy hike. We had plenty of cloud cover but on a sunny day it will get quite hot since there's no shade to speak of. The trails can be a little confusing since there are multiple paths leading to the same place, but if you do what we did and take the left trail each time you'll reach the lakes. The wildflowers are blooming, especially on the hills above the lakes. On the lake we found a couple geese and about six goslings, but other than that no wildlife to report.
