Talapus Lake Snowshoe, Talapus and Olallie Lakes — Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

7.4mi 700m ascent. Talapus TH, Talapus, Olallie Lk, ridge approach to Pratt Mt. Medium snow to the parking lot, which may cause troubles for lower clearance vehicles, particularly if the temperature rises above 30F. Some spots had powdery snow, but nothing was too deep to present difficulties to those with snowshoes. The trail around the east side of Olallie was drifted up to the saddle and did not seem well traveled. The stream crossing the outflow of Olallie was giving some parties difficulty, and there are some blowdowns across the trail between Talapus and Olallie.
