I've been in WA for five years now and no one I talked to was very helpful on "where" to go hiking. I stumbled upon WTA a year or two ago when my urge to get back to the trails became too much to bear and have been hitting local trails pretty hard since then. So far I've hit 20+ trails in 2010. I'm primarily into day hiking but am looking forward to doing some backpacking or overnight trips in the future.
